The Festival of Remembrance

Sunday 9 November, 7:30pm - Theatre

Adults £15, child £7.50

This year the Festival of Remembrance returns to the Weymouth Pavilion on the 9th of November.

The aim of the Festival of Remembrance is to commemorate all those who have lost their lives in conflicts; we aim to do this with entertainment and reflection.

This year we will be marking the 80th Anniversary of both VE and VJ Day and we will once again share those local stories that tell so much.

After the Great War, four Organisations had been formed to helps those returning, the Comrades of the Great War, the National Association of Discharged Sailors and Soldiers, the National Federation of Discharged and Demobilized Sailors and Soldiers, and the Officers' Association. These were the forerunners of the British Legion.

The British Legion became Royal in 1971 and 104 years since their formation we continue to respond to the changing needs of the Armed Forces community, providing small interventions to life-changing, and sometimes lifesaving, support.

We are hoping to make this a Festival to Remember.

Please join us for a truly fantastic evening.
